I need to get five-digit steps for the third day in a row. I also need and an exercise-bike ride for at least 20 minutes in addition to 5-digit steps, two days in a row. Will I do the bike in addition to enough steps, every day? Heck no, but I will get 15,000+ steps on a good day, 10,000 on an average day. I will also get 4,000+ on the occasional rest day instead of a laughable 3,000 or so…
…curious, what do your cheat days look like?
I ask because moderating a cheat day matters too…even just one cheat day can mess up progress, yes, even occasionally, if it is more frequently than a literal celebration…if you don’t mitigate it. There is a difference between, for example, some chicken tacos, rice, and beans, made at home, vs. the same thing plus alcohol and free chips at a restaurant. One is mitigated, and the other is going all out and may mess up an entire week, or an entire few weeks if your goal is low.

I am not a vegetarian, or even pescatarian, or even limiting meat, or even red-meat-free as long as I *definitely don’t* eat red meat every other day or more…
…until I get back in touch with my real reason why. I will get back in touch with that reason, instead of my current unhealthy reason for my short attempt, by working on better mental health by recovering from low-level personal-goal burnout and prioritizing instead, better sleep, etc. to realize my real reason.
The real reason will be terrifying when I get out of this “burnout bubble” again, as I call it, and even see it in my dreams, but…I will get over that sharp, scary emotional learning curve too by taking care of myself, and not moving as rapidly to transition, as my scary dreams will tell me too (sanity matter).

Good morning!
I had whole-wheat matzoh with the only ingredient being wheat, and one-ingredient peanut butter for breakfast.
Some people would consider that healthy, others not so much; depends on your priorities. For me, that is a very healthy breakfast, other than the fact that I didn’t eat an apple, which is *my* individual healthiest fruit, although your best choice may be different. I’ll have an apple for dessert today after dinner.

That brief week of summer in the middle of April is over.
Oddly *spring* heat doesn’t attract mosquitoes here…I’ve heard that if it’s so untimely that it’s scary, (not summer), it literally kills mosquitoes. It is scary anyway even when there are no bugs.

This is what happens when you up your steps too fast the day before, and finally sleep enough too, and think of a short walk and a small workout but not steps too, as enough. Need more later!!!
