I did 30 minutes on the stationary bike yesterday. A 30-minute ride isn’t much if it is my average pace, but it was a better, more intense pace than usual. Steps were a different story…not enough. I will get more steps today but maybe skip the bike.

I comfort-ate this morning—who does that in the morning lol? 😂 oh right, people with issues who need dopamine. 😂So I will have a low-calorie lunch even if it is not the healthiest, and a healthy dinner out, and count steps.

I don’t usually plan, because it usually doesn’t go well, but today it is different because it is a relaxed day with less time to be bored thanks to extra sleep after eating too much so I could sleep lol. When I stick to it, I will be at a number that is too high for most, but…I’m aiming for binge recovery/not gaining rapidly/maintaining + losing eventually. So, cutting back gradually it is.

All about me, the good and the stuff to work on, and even the ugly lol, 😂 as in my bio, since I currently gave away my laptop and haven’t bought my own since…

My name is LaineAndTheDog, and I’m a new vegetarian, huge fan of listening to my choice of music instead of just the radio, art fan, artist, occasional reader, doing 1 percent better at literally everything daily, recovering mild compulsive overeater, recovering from depression and severe OCD, former severe compulsive overeater…yay for doing better.

I am only 27. I was an overweight child, other than briefly at age 5 when I was going to a hippie school that only allowed healthy-ish lunches, danced ballet, examined fruits and vegetables while I ate them like a curious scientist, and loved edamame and kiwis other than my usual love of processed foods as a kid. It was related to impulse eating, (autism). I was a fit teenager up until PE class ended, and gained even more weight in my 20s, and lost 30 lbs, gained 15 back.

I love vegetables, except for bitter or badly cooked ones, fruit, peas, nuts, and any kind of soup. I liked beans until very recently and got tired of them—I should get back to eating beans, especially because I’m a vegetarian now. I love bread, and am swapping regular bread for Dave’s Killer, and chips for seaweed chips, and compulsively eating sweets to eating a serving size (yes, even if that serving size is almost daily). I hate exercise, but normally love it—just burned out. I love sleep and TV too much too. It’s a problem.
