Out of the 400s! Whoop there it is!

Off to a great start this morning. ^_^ Guess it's time to shift my focus to a new weight loss goal. Currently down 36lbs. 2 days til I meet with the bariatric surgeon. 3 weeks til my next weighin at the doctor's and leave on vacation, and 25 days til the end of the month. I think I could lose another 10lbs by the time I leave for my trip as long as the weight loss doesn't stall. 14lbs would put me at an even 50 lost. So the goal is 10-14 lbs gone by the end of the month.

Now October... Once upon a time a dozen years ago, I lost 60lbs in 4months. I was doing the same sort of dieting and calorie tracking that I'm doing now. I would like to meet or beat that number for October. The thing that killed my weighloss at that time was foot surgery and moving to a new town several hours away. It was a busy and hectic time.

My husband broached a new subject with me today. He asked if I was going to get rid of stuff that is too big as I lose weight. With the premise behind it being that having to go out and buy clothes in a bigger size would keep me from gaining weight back. For some people that might work, but it's an incentive to me to buy new clothes period. Buying new clothes in a smaller size would be way better than buying new clothes in a bigger size, but it what it is. I also like baggy comfy clothes. So buying a bigger size purposefully to wear around the house is already something I do.

Since there is no school today, we are planning to get in the pool later, then grill turkey burgers and sausage for dinner. With plenty of left over.

Scale is up this morning. But not unexpected. lol I just threw some things that looked about right into the counter for dinner. lol. Oysters on the half shelf, strawberry daiquiri (X2), and Penne topped with sauteed shrimp, smokey sausage, sun-dried tomatoes with a lemony cream sauce and cheeeeese. It was really good. And had a ton of shrimp in it. The daiquiris were perfect too, not too boozy, and just refreshing. We ate outside, and it was humid, but there was a great breeze off the water. We had a great time. ^_^

After dinner my heartrate spiked up to 130. O.O And I was at rest. Not sure what that was about. Per the fitbit, it lasted about an hour before it came back down. I feel fine this morning, but its worrisome. Planning to call my primary on Tuesday about that and the dizzy spell at the gym last week.

Today we're going to take it easy, get in the pool with the kids, and do some laundry and light chores. That's about it.

34 lbs down! and soooo close to being out of the 400s. Might not see that til the end of next week though. Fully expect dinner and drinks tonight to cause fluid retention. But still worth it. It's important to enjoy an evening out, especially since they don't happen often for my husband and I. We're pretty family oriented and typically spend our free time with the kids.

No gym today, but I do see the chiro at 10:15. Then pick up kids at 2pm, the babysitter teen at 4:30pm, then dinner at 7pm with a 45min drive to get there. Oh and I need to order pizza for the kids before we leave. And remind them not to make smoothies like they did last time. They wrecked the kitchen and didn't clean up after themselves. I think they learned their lesson since I grouched at them. If they'd have cleaned everything up they wouldn't have even gotten in trouble. lol.

Oh and I might even get in the pool today after the chiro and before picking up kids.

Weighed in today. Down! Yus! Its been a bit of a rough morning. Today was the 2nd meeting with trainer. We pushed a little harder. Left arm is sooo weak. It was hard, but worth it. We ended up cutting the workout short because I had a severe dizzy spell. I think either my bp dropped low, or blood sugar dropped low. I couldn't find my cuff when I got home either, so I ate an apple and laid down. Took a nap and woke up feeling more normal. But the whole world kinda started spinning. Heart rate was up around 118. Going to take my cuff with me next week just in case of a repeat. If it turns out to be my bp, then I'll have to call the doc about adjusting my meds. I had wheat toast about an hour before the gym and a protein shake about 30mins before the gym.

Besides all that, I have a lot of sore muscles. Some from the gym, and some from the pool. Pretty sure I'll be feeling today's workout well into the weekend.

Over all, I feel great after my nap and lunch! I still have to pick up my youngest from school around 2pm, and then I'm taking my friend's daughter to her hair appointment around 4-4:15 as well. I might pick something up for dinner since I'll be out and about. Maybe something from our favorite bbq joint.

I also need to take time tonight to pick out what I'll be wearing to a dinner with my husband tomorrow night. It's dinner and drinks with some of his work people. It's a seafood restaurant on the beach. ^_^ Currently planning to go lower calorie during the day tomorrow so I can feel better about indulging tomorrow night.
