Just want to say how awesome the community on FS is. Yall are really the best. Was completely overwhelmed by everyone's support on my last journal. And I'm not a person who gets overwhelmed easily. The uplifting I received from yall was something I really needed this morning too. So Thank you all so so very much for that.

And the new members who found my post motivating and inspirational, If I can do, anyone can. Just take it one day, one hour, one choice at a time. And all the single better choices for food, or to take that one walk to the stop sign on the corner and back, they help. And they add up over time. ^_^ And if you have questions, dont be afraid to ask them. If you need someone just to chat with, shoot me a message. I know how hard it is starting out and developing new habits. But Yall got this and this site helps and the people here are rooting for you!

Plans for the day: Walking a couple miles, getting my steps in. I might not go to the gym for that, but walk the neighborhood instead. Not sure yet. Breakfast for dinner tonight since we are emptying the fridge as best we can before our trip next week too. Baaaaacon is going to be so good. I typically avoid it because of its fat content and higher calories. And Turkey bacon just isn't the same and I find it to be more like cardboard and unable to satisfy that bacon craving. Turkey sausage is fine though.

I need to hit the farmer's market for a couple things to get us to next Tuesday. Some tomatoes, and their salad mix are on my list. I also have to pick up grits and eggs. If yall have noticed, there is a lack of eggs in my breakfast unless it's in pancakes. They are excellent protien, but I had an unfortunate experience with them when I was a kid that has left me scarred and unable to eat them. I've tried. And just cant, but I can still cook them like no one's business!

With the soreness in my thighs today, I'm going to take it easy on the exercise and not push too hard since I know I'll be pushed hard tomorrow at the gym. I'm considering changing my days with the trainer from Tues/Thurs to Monday/Thurs to give me an extra day to recover between sessions.

Anywho, I'm going to get started today. I hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday! And Thanks again everyone!!!

Finally! A whoosh! 41.6 lbs Down! And feeling Greeeeeeat!

My left thigh and arm are shakey after the gym. I know it'll wear off some once I rest a bit though.

Something unexpected happened at the gym this morning. I was asked if I wouldn't mind being featured in a video for the gym I go to. Like seriously, me. Tomato face, can't keep it serious for a second, me. lol. So Thursday we'll be recording the session. I think it'll be good for me. I'm not fond of full body things, and I'm more use to being behind the camera than in front of it. Not gonna lie, Im going to be an anxious mess the whole time. But focusing on my exercise and what the trainer has me doing will help. And I think in the long run I'll be happy to have a video to show my progress.

Pic in blue is from this morning at the gym! And progress pics: Lemon shorts pics are from July, and the all black is from last week. It took me a hot min the process how I feel about it and want to post it here. But I figured if I can get out of my comfort zone and do an actual video of my work out, I can at least post full body pics on a site I have always found some of the most supportive and positive people I know on.

Happy Friday everyone! It's been a busy week and the scale did go down a pound, but I really am waiting for a woosh. I got to the gym 3 times this week: Monday, Thursday and today. Today my trainer upped the intensity/difficulty and I am feeling it. But it's a good sore. Push sled, resistance bands, and weights work.

The step thing I've been using a fair bit at the gym are DC Blocks! I remembered to find out this week instead of just killing it in the gym and leaving have dead. lol. They're pretty pricey and I'm considering if I should get them for the house. Or maybe get them as a Christmas gift for myself. I'll have to talk with hubs about it and figure it out from there.

I did retake some progress pics today. And I can kinda see a difference in them. Not sure if I'm comfortable posting them on here. As I told someone else today, I'm a little self conscious about full body pics. I know I'm pretty positive and motivated generally, but we all have things with struggle with.

Plans for the weekend: We might get in the pool, and I want to spend some time in the yard in the morning while it's cooler. We have finally had a few cooler mornings and they were glorious! Oh and I'll be pulling out my big skeleton dragon and starting to slowly decorate for Halloween! Then I can enjoy it for a month and a half before boxing it all up again.

Good afternoon! A little down today....weight wise, not emotionally. And Surprisingly not still sore from the gym on Thursday!

The trainer and I had a conversation about protien intake and he'd like me to strive between 100-150g each day. I'm actually having to push myself to eat that much of it too. lol. Didn't know how set in my ways of 80-90g a day I was til I tried to increase it.

I think I want to get an aerobic step for the house now too, but I can't find the ones that they have at the gym. They only go up in 2in rises, and they stack kind of like leggos. It feels stable under my current weight since they're really solid.

Still in a love/hate relationship with the push sled as well. And I totally smacked myself in the face with a medicine ball at the gym last week...gravity was also involved. No noses were permanently harmed either.

I'll write more tomorrow, I'm being fussed at to leave since hubs has a hair appointment today! ^_^

Good Morning! Good Morning! Good Morning! Down just a bit today, but at least it's down! I feel good, but my muscles are so sore. My left thigh should be sporting a cape and mask since it's Super Sore! Trainer Tuesday feels like a great success today, the left leg being weaker than the right really got the brunt of the workout and soreness. I did some core and leg exercises using a resistance band.

Also did some work with a medicine ball and carrying it over head and walking. Again strengthening the core.

And then...the push sled. Like lawnmower that doesn't want to get up and go. And it feels like you're pushing it uphill both ways.

I was suppose to meet with the bariatric surgeon today for my initial appointment, but they just called and had to reschedule. So I won't see him til the 26th of October, surgery isn't an option til Jan/Feb of 2023. Currently going through a 6 month weightloss trial that is monitored by my primary care doctor as well.

So today is a little less busy and crazy now. Still have chiro at 10, violin at 12, School pickup at 1:45, and then hubs has a chiro at 5:15 today as well.

I wanted to try and get in the pool today, but between running around and the weather, the odds aren't in my favor. So walking, and getting at least 6000 steps in today is my primary goal.
