Things are heating up weather-wise. 105 yesterday. It was more like a cool July day, unseasonably hot. Really stepping up the gym and the walking and it's starting to show. Lowest weight yet today. Looks like I will exceed my end of month goal by at least 3 pounds. Very pleased.

New dog is so much work and probably contributing to weight loss. Chasing after him, all the bending over, I swear it all adds up.

He's getting better but only because I never let him out of my sight. I know the house training will come with time and patience. At the end of May, I will have some Saturdays free and I can finally sign up for the Saturday classes at PetSmart for "Sit. Stay." etc. It worked great for my first dog.

The training is 90% for me, 10% for the dog.

Off to start my day!

Congrats! I thought it was hot in Lake Havasu but we weren't 105 yesterday, just 98.

Awesome, weight loss AND a dog. So happy to hear that you are in a great space, considering puppy is alot of work :) Before you know it, he will get better (but not before that marking phase...lol). We feel your pain, not as hot yet but Louisiana has the humidity that tops the heat. I'll take 105 dry before 87 humid....seriously. Think the heat and busy, contributed to my last few pounds, letting dogs in and out is a lot of work.
