Started alternate day water fasting this past Monday. It's now Saturday and the 3rd fasting day of the week. It's been awhile since I did a longer fasting cleanse and this alt day always has been a good prep. This is the first time though that I don't have any real negative side effects from my fasting days. They have been pretty smooth which is a godsend. Typically there is brain fog, shakes, leg cramps, sour stomach, sweating and chills. But have been adding pink salt to my water and drinking 1/2 tsp. of baking soda with lemon and Apple Cider vinegar in the morning. It has made all the difference I think.

My plan was to do alt fasting days for 14 days. But feeling 7 is going to be enough. I have been out of the country for almost 6 months eating unfamiliar food in Asia and not feeling my best. Turned towards breads there as the staple in my diet while away and found myself ballooning up to 358 pounds. My highest historical was 334. NOT HAPPY!

WATER FASTING HERE I COME TO CLEAR MYSELF. My longest water fast was 11 days about 2 years ago. I'll try a few options. 5 days fasted and eat weekends. We'll see how next week goes doing that. If ok, may try 7 days fasted on the 3rd week. Then altnate same three week pattern from there. Alt day, 5:2, & 7 days. That's the plan.
