ahhhh sorry myree i feel ya, hang in there hun!  

Oh, so sorry Myree. Tough love is the hardest thing to do. How old is your son? 

He's 20 will be 21 in January and has been in and out of jail since he was 18 with drug and alcohol charges. He's following in my footsteps but it's hell for me watching! 

Oh, Myree, I will say some prayers for him! Hang in there mom, I know this is tough! 

Hang in there Myree. They always seem to find someplace to stay. Probably won't necessarily be a good place for him but he won't be on the street. My son actually lived in his car for a month or two at one point. Thank god he has moved on from that part of his life. But like you, I can't blame him since I am only 2 1/2 years clean myself. 

Yeah Robert sold his car so if someone doesn't take him in he's on the street... last night his girlfriend's father took the two of them in... him driving her car drunk got her mom pissed at them so they can't go there... they're both in deep do do 

Nothing smart to say, just sending sympathy and hugs. Hope he finds a safe place to be for a while so you can stop worrying.  

Like Sarahsmum, nothing smart to say, either. Tough love and consequences are a lot harder in practice than they are to talk about. You can only hope and pray these will be the only consequences he needs to make some changes in his life.  

My prayers are for your son...May be he needs tender love and attention and professional help/counciling?... 

Thanks you guys lotus we've tried that route and he just blows us off. 

May be I'm too young to comment ,specially when I have no kids myself.But for sure I'm sending your son my best prayers.God bless him,he will sure come back to right path.
