Trying to be 'Good' on LCHF and exercise. Yesterday I went on my first out of town trip since recommiting. It challenged my food selections and I tweaked my back, so will be off exercise for a couple of days.
I'd forgot just how challenging trips can be for those following restrictive WOEs. Even with good friends. I need to do more planning, in advance. Glad I held it as close as situation allowed and didn't just 'throw in the towel'.
Been there, done that.

Feel better about staying true to LCHF. Committed to 4 days/wk of my exercise routine (total gym like plus resistance). This is first day off after 5 in a row. Routine isn't extensive but they say: 'any is better than none'.
Anxious to see BG numbers later today (2hrs after brunch). Let y'all know. Even if news is bad!
Said I'd let y'all know. It was improved (108). Now we want it to drop about 10 points and stay close to that!

Yesterday I renewed commitment to put my diabetes as close to remission
As is possible via diet and exercise.
So this is day 2 of LCHF. Wasn't quite perfect and having carb cravings already. Next goal is to get fasting BG consistently below 150, at which time we drop some meds. It's all checked in with my medical coaches at the VA.
Now for the long haul!,,!

Just changed diet, being followed, from Oldit's Own to LCHF.
THIS BECAUSE all of my recent readings on how diabetes (T2) might be 'reversed.
I'm calling it LCHF, without the 'Ketogenic', for now.

Haven't stayed close to my own diet,for several months.
Time to nail the diet down by going with something that has a book for it.
Right now, I have just begun to investigate: Diabetes Dtour and Mayo Clinic diets.
Has a anyone else tried these? Remembering that Diabetes is an overriding issue here.
Also toying with returning to Dr. Bernstein's Diet although I know from experience that it is a very tough one to stick with.
