Do you have any favorite and least favorite foods?

Warning about different brands of oatmeal:

Do not eat oatmeal with sodium in it. Oatmeal never has enough sodium to be a problem for your health unless you have restrictions, but it’s not supposed to have *any*. Oatmeal with sodium tastes worse than you can imagine. Read the darn label!

On a more positive note than ranting about foods not to eat, a good food to eat is pumpkin seeds.

Pumpkin seeds are quite underrated compared to other nuts, but far easier not to eat too many because they are so crunchy that you automatically stop at a reasonable amount. They also are high in iron, and high in protein. Yes, I know you need less protein than you think anyway, but if you are one of those people who need protein to curb appetite, it can’t hurt lol.

Bad news: bad day of eating today, other than…well, ironically I met my basic goals just because of eating less and not eating sugar, even if my meals were less than ideal.

Good news: Only drank 70 calories, no sweets, no snacking, unintentionally ate less even if it wasn’t better, even if I didn’t try at all, because I’ve had far healthier days when I still lapsed because of snacks/sugar/too much, none of which happened today.

And I ate so little sugar, not a sweet or even a hidden source of sugar in sight other than two cans of “healthy” soda, with very little of it.

Bad news: I ate less because I had a bad food lapse yesterday, and slept too much.

Good news: I am about to get what I call a “stimming workout,” no, counting steps mechanically indoors to music is not ideal, but it will make up for the excess sleeping, and also make a plan to eat better tomorrow.
