Ugh! Still stalled! Yesterday I ate Keto, but nibbled all day, so no IF. I'm getting discouraged.
Good news, my New, Saved For, and Wanted! Vitamix arrived, and I just unboxed it. I'm going to try a veggie smoothie to get things started. I was doing them a lot when I first began Keto, but I sort of got off them, mostly because my small blender did not sufficiently grind down the kale and veggies, so it was a lumpy mess. That should not be a problem with the (very pricey, thus a long saving time) Vitamix.
Also, I started a program of physical therapy that I will be doing twice a week for 6 weeks to get me up to walking again. Not that I can't walk, but I use a walker and my stamina is zilch. I did my exercises on Friday and yesterday, still to do them today. Tomorrow my appointment is 7:15 AM! Hopefully I will get later appointments from now on. On my first visit (at 1:15 pm) I got a little dizzy and the therapist took my BP (normal 116/60) and said I MUST eat before my exercise. At first I was resistant, as I've been doing IF from 9 pm to lunch the next day (about 2pm)but then I thought, I don't think it will kill my program to have a smoothie 2x a week, so I'll try it. And really, as a nurse, I agreed with her, I needed some food for the extra exertion.
SO! It is the start of a new week and a new try. Hopefully with the smoothies and some more movement I will shift off this plateau I've had for about a month!

Yay! I'm going down again. I did adjust a few things, like a bit more veg, adding ACV every day, and paying attention to when I was full. Later on today I'm going to measure and see if I've lost any inches.
Oh, and I moved a bit more. I'm trying to declutter, and it's amazing what you can find when you bend over and look in the back of those cupboards and closets! Salvation Army is coming tomorrow and I've about 3 cartons of stuff to give:)

Well, after last weeks good drop, I suppose it was not surprising I went a bit back up. But I know I've eaten well and done my IF, so unless the trend keeps up, I'm going to assume I'm still on target.
I do have trouble getting in all my RDI's (according to this website) but I'm hardly ever hungry, and then it is usually close to meal time, which is normal.
One interesting thing, this morning when I woke up I thought I felt hungry. But on analysing the feeling, it was not like when I was really hungry an almost pain in my stomach. This was like in my upper chest and arms. So I am labeling that my "craving" feeling. I did ignore it and it went away. Yay for me, I'm learning to discern cravings from real hunger!

whew! After a lot of hard work trying what works, I'm back on track after that blip last week. One of the things I learned is I do need to count carbs, especially in dairy!
But my tastes have changed; I'm learning to like lemon dressing. I need to do better with my ACV - if I put a Tbs in my water with a tbs of lemon juice, it is very drinkable. I did go to Walmart and picked up a gallon of ACV (with the mother) and it is a much better buy than buying it buy the bottle (20 or so oz) in the grocery shop.
Last night I had a pork rib, a cup of broccoli with butter and a salad with a bit of mozzarella and 5 olives and Brianna's Italian vinaigrette.
My lesson this week is patience. I want to be down to my goal weight now! So enduring the slow process is teaching me patience and endurance, qualities I'm not famous for! And the only way I know of getting these virtues is the same way someone gets to Carnegie Hall: practice, practice, practice!

Ugh! I have not had a good week. Cravings, and not enough movement. Well, I've sorta been expecting this, thank goodness it is no worse. But it is a new week and we will do better.
I can hardly wait for this weather to be over. Lots of dark rainy days. On the other hand when I did go off my eating plan, I ate keto friendly foods, if not in the right proportion. It definitely makes a difference having only good food in the house!
