Well down another pound! Actually I am down 6 pds because on Wednesday last I had gone up to 245 for some unknown reason. My body is idiotic in that way! Anyway I was in joy to see that I've climbed down to the 230's this morning.
I tell you I haven't learned this much patience since I took up gardening years ago, and learned that plants grow how they will and I'm not in charge! Just weed and water and the results will take care of themselves.
So I'm weeding and watering my body and here's to good results!

Well, I'm thankful that I'm back to losing a bit every week. But I now know I can survive the weeks (literally!) that I don't lose because of all the good side benefits of eating healthy and exercising.
Also we have had some relief from the extreme heat, only being in the mid to upper 70's the past 2 days. Today is forecast for warmer (mid 80's) but I can deal. As I've never been skinny, I wonder if I will enjoy the hotter days more when I get to goal? Well, I get to find out!:)

Wee-ell, a bit more down. Better than up! I am enjoying my pool exercise and generally feeling a tiny bit better each day. But the best news is that I never again shall have to be almost 300 lbs. (Or over, if I go back 18 years to when I topped off at 325)
And all my clothes being loose is a nsv (non scale victory). I just ordered a new pair of jeans, 3 sizes smaller than previous.
All in all not a bad Monday!

Well! Learn something new every day. Did you know, that even if you weigh yourself once a week, you body MAY not be on the same schedule? Yesterday I weighed and found I had not lost anything. I wasn't going to give up - I'm feeling too great with my new eating exercising plan, but I must admit I was a little discouraged: I didn't post my weight. This morning I got up and sadly got on the scale thinking, "here it comes, I actually gained something" sob sob. But NO! I had actually lost almost 2 lbs!!!
So just because I'M on a schedule, doesn't mean my body has to cooperate. It is the overall scheme.
So don't give up friends. Hang in there!

Finally! It's been edging toward the lower number this week (yes I weighed each day; as long as I don't let it keep me from doing my best, I will do it!) but finally this morning the scale came solidly in 2 lbs down.
I've been able to switch things up a bit. I went back to 3 meals a day, with supper being the lightest meal and finishing before 8:00. I added back in _daily_ the Tbsp of MCT oil in my coffee. And I added in a dose of metamucil type husks once a day to help along. Also this past week I was able to join a gym and swam once. I plan on doing this 2-3 days a week until I can do more. In the mean time I've physical therapy where I'm learning and practicing low impact exercises.
Also in some personal news to share, my sister (younger) had a heart cathertization Friday and came through just fine, for which we are all thankful. Generally she has been healthier than me, but has neurasthenia gravis (a neuro-muscular disease) and had a heart attack last month. Mostly she suffers from all the side effects of meds they have to give her. Anyway, we are all praising the Lord and hope they can get a better grasp on how to treat her, and I wanted to share our joy with you all!
