Today was not a good day. Me and my husband were both off work and he just made Mcdonalds sound so good instead of cooking dinner at home. He's good at that. Luckily I usually only see him once a week due to a difference in shifts. Back on track tomorrow.

Today was better, and worse.
It was better because after 6 months I've finally been matched up with a special needs buddy to run for through whoirun4, and it motivated me to go out and put 2 slow miles in. It was better because when I went through Mcdonalds for my lunch and they gave me a large fry instead of a small I managed some self control and only ate part of it instead of the whole delightfully salty carton.
It was worse because I reallly wanted some pizza and I knew that if I had some my calories would be done for the day, and I devoured it.
Two steps forward and one step back still puts me in the right direction though, so I'll take it.

Is it normal to lose this much weight, even in the beginning? I recognize that my 197 start weight was just an estimate since I was mid workout when I weighed. But even so, 2 days ago I was 194. Even as the body fluctuates up and down that seems like too much to me. I don't think the scale is the issue either. It's at my gym and it's one of the scales you get on at the doctors office so I would assume it's pretty accurate. I know the first week can go either way,and that it will quickly start to slow down, but I never expected to lose more than 4 lbs the first week, even if I hadn't had any booboos.

Today on my way home from work I stopped to get gas and was dying for a Pepsi and a bag of pretzels, but since I'd already had a couple of cookies today I came out with a flavored water and a 200 calorie Krave bar!!! It was hard. I wanted that Pepsi sooo bad :D I'm super proud of myself for that.
Of course, by the time I got home, ate the Krave bar, and input my calories, I realized that I'm coming up way short on my calories for the day. I'm around 1300 when I should be around 1800, so in a little bit I'm going to eat a couple of pieces of toast with peanut butter on them. One small step :)

Today was a good day. I was hoping to get some fruits and veggies in outside of whats in the snack wrap, which isn't much, but other than that fail I'm pretty proud of today.
Started it with a green tea, ended it with a green tea. Had my Ramen noodles and still had a bit of calories to spare.
I went to the gym today. Spent 15 on the elliptical and spent some time on weight machines. It's a step forward from earlier in the week where I pulled into the parking lot after work, changed clothes, and then decided I was too tired and went home xD
I haven't had pop in 2 full days now. It's hard but I'm making it.
And I'm pretty sure I've lost a few lbs already. Last time I weighed myself it was halfway through a run so it wasn't exact, but the scale at the gym said 197. Today before I started working it out was saying 194. I'll take it either way. :)
