I am not going to write my food down today which pretty much says it all. The stomach pains are enough revenge for what I ate without looking at it. I did resist the urge to go to DQ so that is a nice bonus. I went for a short walk yesterday. I know it's a start but it felt pretty pathetic. OK, my pity party is over. Actually I don't feel to bad about it and I think that's because I don't feel like I have failed. I know I will be back on track and just have to try harder. I can't remember ever feeling that confident before.
My granddaughter Camdyn called me this morning to tell me that she did 7 front flips, landing on her feet on the trampoline at gymnastics today. She has been working very hard on this as her instructor told her how great it would be for a 4 year old to do this. So grandma is bragging about it now. And the bonus for her is that she got it in under the wire as tomorrow is her birthday.

On Monday my daughter took me shopping at Maurice's. I didn't know they were carrying plus size clothes. They not only carry them, but most are the same colors and styles as the regular sizes. I got two shirts that were not flowered or covered with bling and was so excited. The prices aren't bad and the selection was pretty good. Their website shows a sampling of what they have. Ok I'm done with the advertisement.
I still haven't started exercising. I am doing great on the food. Handling any cheating by getting right back on and I definitely am drinking enough water. I just can't make myself exercise. I tell myself to start with 5 minutes and build but it's just not happening. I keep hoping for that ah-ha moment like with the diet, but apparently it's just whispering or my sound is turned off. My favorite form is to walk at the pool and if I don't get started summer will be over and it's not as much fun at the indoor facility.

As a scientific experiment and research for all of my friends I have tried two of the three special pancakes at IHOP in the past few days. The Kansas Carrot Cake is not too bad. The California Strawbery is like eating pure sugar.
Knowing I shouldn't have eaten either does not help. It's over with and I will be back on track tomorrow and as I have nowhere to go for several weeks I will be able to be good.
