Just got my lab results back, stress test show normal blood flow under all conditions. Other tests say I'm good. Hmmm Got to get back to the gym now!

I'm back! I appreciate those of you who wrote and urged me to return. With the elections over and the last-minute run I stopped logging my food and worrying about taking care of my health with the consequences of gaining a few pounds. I'm going to keep this short today because I have to get a lot of things done and I want to see what everyone else has been up to.

Yesterday evening I was at an event to promote more people, especially those among the African- American community to get vaccinated. There is too much misinformation spreading on social media. This morning I woke up to the news a friend of mine died from COVID overnight. What the hell is the matter with people when they refuse to believe people who have dedicated their life's to helping others are not trustworthy? smh

Things are NOT going well. The campaign is actually going very well, but not so much when it comes to my wife and me. We have been arguing for several days. Ask me what we are arguing about, and I will have to tell you I don't know. She is helping me with the campaign, and she is a great help because I can't be everywhere at once, and so are a lot of friends. I can't believe so many people are stepping up to come to me and saying they want to help. But my wife has in her mind what SHE wants to do and refuses to listen. Her latest promotion is to buy a bunch of key chains with my name on them for about $2.00 each. I tried to tell her that can be a little too expensive rather than handing out buttons for $ .50 each. SO she got mad. Then I am trying to explain to her we need to order promotional material from specific local vendors because these are people who have been supporting our campaign. Then she gets mad because she doesn’t understand – one moment I am telling her we need to hold the prices down and the next we need to go with specific vendors. Which is it? Now we aren’t talking at all!

When I try to explain more, she gets even more angry and shuts down. She goes to a meeting, brings homes notes and lays them on my desk – then she runs off again – can I please ask some questions about these? I get “What do you need to know, it is all there?” GRRRRRR..

There is an old joke:

OK thanks for letting me vent – we all have our down days, this is mine. I should be better tomorrow.
