I never know what to put in these things, I feel like I am a very boring person by nature. I have spent my life hiding behind my fat. Telling myself I couldn't join that team since I was too heavy. Not participating in anything. I am tired of hiding from life. I want to go outside and not be ashamed by my health. I do want to lose weight, but I think I want to become fit even more.

So, I am a Canadian, I received my Bachelor's of Science this past spring and started my Master's in Science in the fall. One of my favourite things to do is to find a good book, curl up in a blanket and read the day away. I need to change that slightly so I am more active, but I definitely cannot give up reading. If you have suggestions on books to read send me a message! :) I'm always looking for a something to read other than journal articles :P

My other passion is baking. I guess it comes from my science background but I love finding a new recipe, and trying it out to see if it works and tastes delicious. I am lucky to have so many lab mates that seem to enjoy my baking so I never actual end up eating much of it :) I guess one of my goals will be to find low-cal/fat options of the favourite things I like to bake.
