Today I reached a goal a year and a half in the making. It was pretty amazing because I have not been putting too much thought into how much better I feel. 17.5 lbs down and I can finally walk from my car all the way to my office without stopping. It has been that long since I have been able to do this. I usually stop at least twice rain or shine.

It is not a long distance for able-bodied folks. But to me, it is far. I was sweating and breathing hard but did not experience the usual pain requiring me to stop and sit down.

So happy!
