Well, today didn't exactly go as planned. My BIL was taken to the ER, so I spent 7 hours there with him before they finally got him transferred on to the city. So no coffee with the girls and late to Bible study. He is having such a hard time. Today they found cirrhosis of the liver, abnormal spleen, and colitis. Jeez! The doctor stated "A complicated combination of problems coupled with his known heart disease that we are not equipped to handle here at our hospital." He has 22 cardiac stents and only 17% functioning heart muscle. So everything is stacked against him. I will probably be taking my MIL to the city tomorrow for the day. Sure hope he gets out before Christmas!
