Still have not gotten around to one of those. I should I should. Hope you feel good the rest of the day 

Not getting political. Just a question... based on side effects and effectiveness to the jab... Why would ANYONE still be getting/ or consider getting these things?  

Fair question 2hand. I’ve got friends that are vaccinated and they had it for the same time as I did while I’m unvaccinated. Not judging or pushing anything but does anyone that got the vaccine that got covid have an easier time than unvaccinated? Asking for a friend 😂 

It's an extremely polarizing topic. I have been banned from family and friends homes based on my status...something I could have NEVER imagined happening in my lifetime. Truly amazing and strange times we are living in these days.

That’s good abba! Yea the only difference for me was the lingering coughing at the end. It stuck around for awhile 

As long as everyone is respectful in this string, I don't mind the discussion. @2Hand & Super: My BFF and her entire family came down with in xmas 2020 (prior to vaccines available). She struggled to breathe, and both she & her husband were hospitalized for 2 weeks. Hubs was a marathon runner, and now he struggles to finish 1 mile. I don't personally know anyone that got it after being vaxed, so either they had no symptoms or they never got it. I'm super careful masking up and social distancing when indoors, and (knock on wood) have never gotten Covid. That said, all the businesses here require their employees to be vaxed (SoCal), whether you work in an office or a salon. 

My hubby and son both had it after being double vaxxed. The science behind all this is not all science. Not here to argue. Hope you feel better and get on your feet soon JB. And hey…going tomorrow to decide on a Malone scent maybe. 😉😘 

@2Hand: I've hangovers and PMS worse than the 24 hours of mild headache and sluggishness. Risking permanent lung damage is not in my cards. No regrets (plus my office gives paid time off for it. 🙂) 

@JustBananas I'm glad you're healthy! Wow all businesses require the shots? I guess I'd be unemployed in SoCal. So much for my body..my choice.  

We are fully vaccinated late last year. Got covid in January. I spent 10 days sick. My husband had a mild case luckily. It is a crazy virus!  

@2Hand: you have the right to work from home if your company has such a policy. But you won't be walking through its doors without the shot. I work in an area that is very tech/medical, and the statistics show that the vax rate is significantly higher among those with degrees, regardless of political affiliation. 

@Wifey: Mother's Day and B-day rapidly approaching! Make sure you celebrate the days separately (double the gifts!) 💖😄🎂 

I had it after vaccination & 1st booster, 4 days symptoms lighter than a cold, and I'm 79 years old.. 

Absolutely JB! Even though last year Mother’s Day and my birthday were on the same day, both were celebrated. My family is really good like that because Mother’s Day and my birthday fall on the same day every few years. I think I’ll be putting birthday money towards a fragrance. Not sure which one yet though. What’s your absolute favorite Jo Malone?  

It seems the one that affects the respiratory is the worse one. In my group of close friends there are 2 unvax and 3 vaxxed. 2 of the vaxxed have gotten it 3 times. The other one was like us, 1 time and lasted a little over a week. I usually get sick once every 3 years. Usually it’s the flu that gets me, but this time it’s covid, I wonder if the immunity builds flu defense from covid too 

@Wifey: My favorite is Jo Malone is from their archives (available on their website still) called Nutmeg & Ginger. Second place is Wild Bluebell. Don't forget to get it online to get those 2 different travel sized scents for free (plus 3-4 little samples). Their specials change every 2 days, so you can just hold off until the "right" one is offered 😊 

@Superman: Influenza is a totally different virus, so no protection unless you get this year's flu vaccine. If you're masking indoors in public places you probably won't get either virus.
