Morning buddies! I just had a good chuckle reading Radiochicks journal entry from this morning about her salad experience. Can we turn her from a salad hater to a salad lover???? Time will tell. (sounds like a soap opera in the making!:))
Got me to thinking of all the ways I love salad and In fact I am going to change my dinner for tonight to a cobb wedge salad! I will take a picture tonight.
AAHHH...salad with grilled steak and blue cheese!!!! grilled romaine with olive oil spritz, grilled zucchini and shrimp!!!! OK, so I can go on and on about all the ways I love salad. Will have those showcase those this summer...but for now another 6 inches of snow expected for tomorrow so haven't even been able to haul the weber out yet! and to think it is opening day for baseball today!! GO REDSOX!!!!

Babs, I hate salad as well so I don't think you will have much luck changing radiochick into a salad lover! Lol good luck any way!

A salad is a bed for your favorite meal. Sometimes mine has so much stuff on it I can't find the lettuce.

lol. I'm okay with salad. Though honestly I'm not fond of lettuce...love tomatoes, cucumbers, and baby carrots though. And broccoli is pretty good too. ^.^ I can't believe yall are getting MORE snow. O.O That's crazy. Wish you could come visit down here for a week. lol.

I have used salad dressing for so long I dreaded giving it up, but amazingly I have found I prefer salad without it - now I can taste all the ingredients individually, rather than just taste salad dressing! I have also recently discovered how yummy adding roasted seeds is to an egg and lettuce/tomato/cucumber salad is. So sorry to hear about more snow on the way to you....I'm not going to tell you about our weather.....

Hi Babs. Unfortunately the Sox don't open until tumorrow (in Texas), so we are relagated to the Yankees/Tigers game today. Glad that you enjoyed your salmon last night...Gotta love New England weather your expecting 6 inches and a Winter weather worning. We're expecting nada. How far away are we? About 40 miles? Tops? @CMR, I am northwest of the airport about 10 miles on the CT/MA border. We always get that nasty weather out of Albany NY and over the Berkshires! I won't be watching the Yanks, will wait for SOX tomorrow but already breathing heavy with anticipation!!!!!

@Jada, I wish I could come visit too, but heading to Bahamas in May so I will just have to wait for that and then once we get back we will be into June weather here so all will be OK from there on out. Hoping for excellent beach weather again this summer!

I love salad. I put white wine vinegar and olive oil and S&P and am happy with that. I love ranch too-just have to stick with 2 TB. We have family salad night somtimes with griled chiken and I cook bacon,etc and lots of veggies-kids like this.
