Yesterday was a little stressful, my hubby thought he had a mosquito bite on his back and asked me to look - I was shocked to see a lump as big as a goose egg on his shoulder blade. I don't know how I missed that as it is very noticeable through his shirt. The doctor knew at once that it was a lipoma (this threw us into a spin as all bad things end with 'oma'). It turns out that a lipoma is a fatty ball that has developed. For him it isn't painful, but sometimes it is irritating. It will need removing. Strange comment from John though, who I must say is normally the one who is level headed in an emergency when everyone else is running around in a panic. His thoughts were that if it is the big C (which it isn't) then this is probably why he is losing weight. Think this has sprang from his thoughts that he is eating so well, so how can he be losing weight. He is seeing a specialist today with a view to having a local op to remove the offending object. Well the day ended well in the end and this morning, I've found I've melted a little bit more. Hope everyone has a good day x 

that had to be a bit scary...so glad it's turned out to be removeable and nothing dangerous. pls send your husband our best thoughts and wishes for a quick resolve! thinking of you today!!

Thanks for your kind thoughts - life is very precious and every now and again we get reminded of it. So we have to make the most of it and for me, being 'fat' gets in the way.
