"Idiot Box" is creeping down. I have been eating less - there was a tragic death in my family yesterday. I am going home to Boston to be with my brother. I do not think he will get over losing his son.
I hope to be on FS so I can track myself and stay in my routine as much as I am able. The emotionality of this visit will be incredible!
Every day, tell the people in your life that you love them.

- The good health of my loved ones
- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue

How totally and truly awful for you to lose your nephew. This is one time in your life where worrying about tracking everything and losing a half pound a day is not important. Take care of your brother, take care of your family, take care of yourself, and just worry about the whole program when things are not so very terrible. We love you HCB, and it would not be the same on FS without you.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your brother's loss. That sounds like a truly tough one, also for you and the rest of the family. Holding on to FatSecret in times like these is actually a great idea. You get something to hold on to, something you know you are good at. You get a superb support group that you can talk about anything and everything with. AND you get to go through the hard times without gaining weight. I hope it all works out, HCB, you will be in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to check in and find this sad news. I lost my brother tragically when he was 16 and I was 18. I agree that we need to tell people that we love them every day and I wish I had done that more when my brother was alive. I cannot even imagine how hard it was for my parents to lose a son. It was a very tough time for all of us. Take care of yourself and know that your friends are here for you. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family during this very difficult time.
