Day 5 in to the Keto diet and loving it so far! So a couple of things I learned today...NEVER have a latte again, seriously 14 carbs! Also lighten up on the mixed nuts, I can't eat one serving because I love them and it is also a big carb hit. I am feeling like this diet really agrees with my body, I am so full from what I ate today so I am skipping dinner and so far no Keto flu symptoms. I think having a lot of fat in my diet makes me feel really full and I always thought that feeling came from carbs. I am also really happy that I have not had any tummy problems so far because grease and fat normally really mess me up. I had flank steak today and red meat normally does not agree with me at all, but I am all good, just full and happy and no tummy issues. Still a little pissed about all the money spent on diet shots etc...that did not work any better than what I have been doing the last 5 days but hey, this is easy so it's all good.

Awe that’s great I’m glad you are liking Keto! I thought the high fat was going to bother me too. The only time I have an issue is when I eat avocado with eggs and bacon :( :( :( I still eat it though!!! Lol

Find I do better without 'quick food' too. I like cheese, but do not buy it anymore. Small sacrifice to feel even better.

I’m glad you feel your body is happy with it. That’s important, it’s also why we should do any dietary changes. I’ve learned much from Dr. Eric Berg on his YouTube videos.

Glad things are going well for you! I found it a great switch too. I also had stomach trouble and it's been about 8 weeks since I started KETO. The only time I had a little upset was when I tried ACV - nothing else bothers me now - YAY!

Switch to unsweetened Americano or Espresso, I go through a couple of pots a day, but I slack off on coffee in the summer. lol

Princessvalerie, I never had any keto flu symptoms either. Just that horrible breath mouth taste in the mornings when in ketosis. Depending on which diet version you use, you don't have to give up lattes, just make them at home with coffee and use 1 tbs heavy cream instead of the milk. I am on a LC HF HP diet based on original atkins. It is different from the online version and restricts a lot more but allows heavy cream. If you make hot coffee and then hand whip in the cream it is very good. I like them better than the lattes.

The HGH diet is baloney, if you want a good read on how absurd it really is, get a copy of Kevin Trudeau's book, The Weight Loss Secret THEY Don't Want You To Know About. He wrote it to hoodwink people out of money, but, knowing who and what Kevin Trudeau is, it really should serve as a cautionary read.
