***non diet personal journal*** I don't expect comments I'm just blasting this out there.

hey people.. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I'm a little low today, My guy best friend who has been one of my bestest friends since we were 10 told me his girlfriend is pregnant.. which is not the best news, b/c they weren't exactly doing well in their relationship as it was.. They had been broke up more than together over the past month. Sigh. Also this chick has a drug problem so it makes me so scared for that baby. He showed up at my job just before 11 last night which is when I get off work and we went and had a drink or two (I know go ahead and slap my hand, I'm kickin my own @ss) I already swelled up and gained weight today. =( I'm just so torn, my balloon is deflated today.. I'm very happy for all the great things in my life and all the love around me but I'm just worried about my friend.. and I don't know why I'm sharing this here.. except I needed to just get it out there. ACK. And here's a really bad thing floating on my head... is the baby even his? Ok I said it.. enough of being Debbie Downer.. I'm drinking loads of water today! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Since you said you weren't expecting any comments but never said you wanted to exclude them - I had to stop by. Sorry to hear about all the stuff going on with your friend. It's hard to not let the stresses of others affect us when we care so deeply for them. I hate to be the one to ask, but is he certain that she really is pregnant. She may be using this as a ploy to keep him. She may be feeling threatened that the relationship isnt going well and trying to hold on the best she can. Well, put your chin up and do your best to be there for his - but take care of yourself 1st.

Keli- I love you. I have thought of that one too.. and well who knows really for atleast another couple weeks or so.. things will start opening up.. Right now I'm just praying and trying to be supportive even though he knows I was very against the relationship and girl for a while now.. bleh. I will be fine.. I will either be an Auntie again or not but I won't leave my friend's side when he needs support and as for me.. I work double jobs again today but I'm going to get my workout on lunch today b/c I feel the need for some running and loud music. =) music makes my world.

Well do some exercise for me as well. Might be able to start back up next week. Was told this week but it's being postponed. Still having pain. Crossing my fingers I can go for nightly bike rides after the semester is over.

I will! I'm boss at work today and already told my coworkers I was planning on a 70 minute lunch (we flex like that occasionally) so I could get 30-40 of working out and a quick shower and wet head back to work so I'll put in some time for ya! I'll cross my fingers and my ankles on the pain going away and the bike rides happening again!

I hear your concern and rightfully so. You care for this guy and it pains you to think what he may have to go through not to mention the girl and the baby. Life can throw in some kickers for sure, we just found out my grandsons girlfriend is pregnant and she is 17 he is 21, they are always together but so young and they have no idea how this will change their lives..they don't stop to think. All you can do now is support them and pray for the best. Thinking of you and praying. :)
