well I'm back finally got surgery date. Tomarrow start 1000-1200 cal diet. Not sure about how to so read and re-read inst.? Well this is where I just try. Diabetic also,feeling overwelmed. Seperate fluid from meals 20min, 1/2 salad plate non starchy vegs, 1/4 plate protein 20g, 1/4 plate 100% whole grain or fruit, or mix. Meals not over 300 cal (diabetic), 2 Snks 1/2 apple chopped,apple sausce (with 2tbs peanut butter opt.)bed time 50 cal. Have option liquid diet with liquid protein? Don't know about jucing or how have nutri bullett machine never used.

Find people for support who've already been where you are in your journey and ask lots of questions. If you're doing to do the liquid diet with protein, the nutribullet is really easy to use, but no matter what you do, make sure you understand what is being required of you. If it doesn't make sense, ask more questions. And know we're here for you :)

I go to see the surgeon tomorrow. Kinda scary! Keep us updated. My insurance requires 6 months doctor supervised weight loss which I am 5 months into. So my surgery will be a ways off. We will be going south for the month of Feb, so hoping I can stay on track...but the Mexican food is sooooo good down there!

good Luck! I drink Isopure Protein Drink. It's a clear pre-made drink that come in a few fruit flavors. (blue raspberry is my favorite) it is Zero carbs, 40 grams of protein, 80mg of sodium, 45mg potassium, and 160 calories per 20oz. bottle. I take a drink every time I walk thru the kitchen!
