Down one more pound! I'm getting back on track and getting settled into a routine more, which is helping me break through this little plateau, I think. All those "welcome to the neighborhood" dinners last week were very kind, but they were wreaking havoc on my diet.

Since I started my new job this month I had to go buy some pants that weren't jeans --I pretty much gave/threw away all my old pants before I moved in August. The ones I threw out were size 14 and 16. Much to my surprise, my new pants were size 8! I'm pretty psyched about that, I don't think I've worn that size since before baby #1, who is now in kindergarten.

We went on a family walk tonight and played at the school playground for a while. I was happy to be able to do the monkey bars pretty easily and have fun running around with the kids. I've been sick with a cold for the past few days, which really zaps my energy. I'm getting better, though, and I look forward to feeling more healthy and fit soon.
