Not a good week really, but I'm still under 70kg so I'm taking that as a good thing. Have managed 4 hours of exercise this week, but I've had red velvet cupcakes, chipniks, and even a scone I couldn't resist and I'm off to have some coffee and cake again right now. Bad - when I feel like treating myself just because it was my birthday - I need to get out of the viscous cycle of treating myself this way. Want to get back to a level where a bubble bath does the trick, but home stress is not helping. My husband got into a mood the other morning when I didn't respond to him talking to me while I was working out. I'm not a morning person at the best of times and when I'm working out I get into a mode so it's not easy to hold a conversation and he was telling me about someone unimportant anyway - it could really have waited until after, but when I did respond after I was done that wasn't good enough.

Anyway, I also think that because I crave pasta and bread so much I will need to find a way to bring it back into my diet without losing complete control and going straight back to cheese-laden lasagne dinners and garlic bread. Not feeling very positive today. Will make a healthy brocolli salad with our braai tonight and hope that the mood improves when he gets home. One can only hope...
