Had a little fun on my birthday, well it was fun at first! After months abstinence from wine I had 3 glasses on my special day. Hint. Don't do this if you are out of practice. I immediately started to overeat a bit, caught myself and stopped before I went completely off the rails. This folks is why I gave up wine- my resolve and good intentions go right out the window as soon as I indulge. And one glass is never enough...just like having one chip or one cookie. At any rate I had a miserable few hours afterwords with disturbed sleep and a headache. Yeah not worth it at all. Resumed my normal routine the next day. I lost 2 pounds this past month and am now 5 pounds away from my original goal weight of 140 pounds at 5 feet 4 inches.
