I've been terrible about being here. I've had a very frustrating month of only working part-time and knowing that I'm getting laid off for twelve weeks starting early August doesn't really put me in an awesome mood! :P

But I'm back and I think I'm ready to fight again! I want to be able to wear a bathing suit without feeling that I'm oozing out all over the place. I want to be able to wear sleeveless tops and not worry about jiggling jello arms. Mostly, I want to be in a happy place with my body this year.

I know I've come a long way, but I still want to go just a little farther. I know I'll be disappointed in myself if I don't even try!

At home, my boyfriend and I discovered that we are within two pounds of each other, weight-wise. As we are the same height (give or take an inch), we have approximately the same weight goal. So we have devised a little contest between us. We must weigh in, in front of each other, on our Wii Fit, every two weeks. Whoever has lost the most weight in that two week period is entitled to a ten dollar gift card of their choice. Now, I love books, so I'm hoping there will be a lot of Chapters/Indigo gift cards in my future!

With motivation and support, I'm sure I can reach towards that goal. I know it won't be easy, but nothing worth having is ever simple to achieve!
