Went to doc yesterday and he said labs were good and weight was great. Heart and lungs sounded good. Come back in three mo for blood work.

Then he said what are you doing to loose this weight?
I said lowered my carbs. He mumbled you and everyone else. Then he said well the biggest obstacle is coming your way , laughing. I said oh what’s that?
He said the holidays. You will gain it alllllll back. Laughed again. I said well don’t worry about me. I
have got that all planned out. I am ok.
(Creep). Had to laugh. My appt is 11/20. Ha ha.

Ordered a new scale fancy new digital ha ha. Should get it tomorrow. Hope I still weigh the same. Yikes

It is amazing that the medical profession doesn't give any incentives but that is what keeps them in business.

Yes I agree giving out meds makes them feel superior.

Great job on getting healthy! And good luck with the coming holidays! I will be good everyday but thanks giving and Christmas (just dinner)!! Oh and my birthday. It right around the corner.

I fired a previous doctor for his attitude or shall I say, never returned. Love my new doctor.

Tell him, “Up yours!” My doctor is thrilled and very supportive. I’d fire him and find another. Remember, he works for you. Congratulations on your success!

I just got a new Dr. same office, he could not believe how much I had lost, he was very supportive, said if it is working you should do it !!!

You so deserve a better dr. Mine took ages to call me through when I went and she said she was reading what my diabetic nurse had put. She was so supportive as my thyroid, familial hypercholesterolism and diabetes are all under control and for the first time in my life all are normal! I was in an extra 10 minutes why she asked about my eating and smiled all the way through. I’m 52 and I’ve been on meds since my mid 20’s. Developing more health problems as I get older. I’m also a part time wheelchair user and I can’t exercise. Low carb is the way to go. You should ask on local social media if anyone recommends their dr. I did that and I now have 3 at one surgery. Good luck and please just ignore that idiot x
