I had a drop this week, so I'm alright with that part. BUT, I had promised myself that I would exercise every day this week even if just a little bit and I have not kept this promise. I purchased a fitbit yesterday. I hope that will help me to see how much I move during the day as my job is a stand/walk style job for part if not all of each day. Then after seeing where I am at the end of the work day the mental game I'm playing with myself is to walk after work to meet the 10,000 steps. So goal...make that 10 thousand before I get off work so I can sit on the couch after I've finished cooking, cleaning, getting kid ready for bed, etc. Because I swear all I want to do after I'm done with dealing with life is just sit down! I'm fighting feeling depressed about how my body jiggles and I know it's only going to tighten up if I exercise and if I lose weight with no exercise the jiggle will get worse :(

Oh yeah random thought, I totally fell off the wagon the other night and had the largest batch of oil popped popcorn ever known to man. It was weird...it was like the salt and butter oil and butter topping were just calling me. The next day I felt like my gut weighed a ton, it was the worst. But lord knows it was good going down. Let's just say I jotted that one down as a cheat day.

After all these years could it possibly be true? I've finally found a WOE that actually works for me and helps me lose weight? Why didn't someone tell me sooner that Atkins was the way to go? I'm really floored! I'm eating real food, not at all hungry and I have absolutely no cravings for junk food. I've only been on this for approximately three days now but for the first time in my life I actually had to make myself eat dinner last night because I simply did not feel pressed to do so. On average before trying Atkins all I ever did was think about what I could put in my mouth. I'm going to continue with this first week trial period and see where I am. Right now I'm seriously considering not doing the Master Cleanse as my primary intention for doing it was to jump start my weight lose. I'm feeling great and losing inches! Yay!

Heyyyy! So, I'm obviously getting more comfortable with sharing. This will actually be my 3rd journal entry in as many days. Woohoo! Anyways, so I started Atkins yesterday, well actually on Wednesday night but yesterday was my first full day on the plan. My initial start weight was 198.8 and I boogered up by not making sure that the weight was recorded correctly when I signed up for the Atkins diet...still trying to figure this site out. So anywho, the Atkins showed my weight at 199. Well guess what! This morning when I weighed in I was at 197.2! OMGeee! I didn't record this as a weigh in because I'm in disbelief. Is this even possible? Could I have really lost 1.6lbs? We'll see what the scale says. I started my day today with a Atkins pizza because I grabbed the wrong thing out of the freezer and with my job you have to eat something or you'll surely perish.
