It's been a lovely week to just stay the course. The weather is still hot hot hot but I really enjoy this especially while I am working out. Really feel a good burn and trying to get in at least 10-12000 steps a day so I know this is my optimum pace for weight loss. Been seeing about 1/2 lb a week so I am really happy with that. Good weight loss should be slow and steady and it is not the finish line that I look at but the process of how I can get there. I don't feel as though I am "dieting" no cravings or loss of what "I can't have" but more of a mind set that this is a livable path for me to be on and I know can do this and feel positive of that. My bi weekly fast (24 hours 6-6pm) and having 2 bone broth servings and will break my fast at 6pm.

Happy Friday everyone, been the same old same old and I feel blessed to be in no crisis or worried state in these trying times. Looking forward to "seeing" some friends tonight on Zoom to catch up and see their faces and just check in and feel connected to the rest of my peeps! I know I have to make the effort to create this for myself and also to reach out to everyone even tho it could feel unfortable at first but once I jumped in it is so awesome to know we are all in this together but being SAFE and PROTECTED! This too shall pass and what stories we will tell around the table when this is all over and we can hug and hold hands, pray and laugh! I will be helping my grandson transition into the whole elearning experience as it's tough for a 9 year old to be so disciplined after this summer recess which was sooooo longggg. Having to adjust as Mom and Dad are still working from home and thinks he needs help so it takes a village and I am excited to get this little guy onto success and adapt and learn all that is out there. Mom and Dad are happy to know we can all create his new learning style and go forward. My grandaughter is doing wonderful and you can clearly see the difference in a 11 1/2 year old adaptation to this new "normal" and I am so proud of this mature young lady! She is awesome and I have faith that this generation will be able to share the ups and downs of what we are experiencing and learn from this! Got all my work done for the day excercise, meal planning for the next few days and will now just chill until I talk to my girlfriends later. Be safe everyone:)

Another week has passed and hard to believe that we are half way thru August!
Able to visit friends last night and social distance and enjoy one another's company. Still hot and humid and I LOVE IT! Some may be uncomfortable but we will be complaining when it is cold so be in the moment (or month) and relax. Life is too short to be sad and wishing for something else to make it better. Food is really not an issue as I am satisfied and losing slow but surely. Intermittent fasting works and wished I had heard of this sooner. I will not starve from one meal to the next! Not in a race anymore more a lifstyle change so I can be my best self.
