Tomorrow is Mother's Day... I haven'y told my brood that I am on yet another diet... they heard that one too many times and watched me fail some many times. Tomorrow one daughter was to have us over for Brunch. I suggested a Potluck and I'm bring fish and salad to avoid most of her fabulous goodies.
To all the Moms among us ..HAVE THE VERY BEST MOTHER;S DAY EVER!

I got so much support and believe me I appreciate every ounce... I don't drink enough water now that I think about it ... the scale is erratic and just maybe I needed a poop...I didn't eat an extra 1750 calories this week for sure... so I will be patient and heed your words especially tapping down the whine "What's the point?" Done that one more times than I choose to remember. I adore you all ... thank you for being there when my bratty impatient imp started yapping...

I gained a half a pound... can't believe it... I counted and measured as best I could and I went up .5 ....!@#$%^ .. I know there is a skinny gal inside here working her way out ...

I started a Group the first week on this site. it is call OVER 50 LOSING OVER 50 and two weeks have gone by trying to figure out why no one joined me... just discover what to push to be in touch with my group.. I am computer challenged so glad I found them... Want to invite anyone over 50 who has 50 to lose to join our group. i promise now that I know where everyone is to share my victories my other words of despair, joy and nuggets of wisdom (LOL) and not to post any images of food...you already have many cooks with beautiful and innovative presentations ... I did go on vacation and I couldn't/wouldn't bring my measuring stuff so I winged it. I knew this place always cooks healthy balanced meals so that helped and missed a cooked lunch by substituting a protein bar ... Lots of fresh air and more walking than I am used to so I came out ahead... looks like I lost a pound ... I know I said somewhere on this site no weighing until Friday ...well I slipped ...imagine the tumult if the scale actually had not dropped a pound. BUT being my usual skeptic self I'm putting the victory dance aside until I get official confirmation this Friday.

Hello dear fellow travelers... so appreciate your support. ... notifications ... what a glorious thing to wake up to believe me I am taking you all with me this weekend when we travel into circumstances where a scale and measuring cups won't work... I will be eyeballing my portions and you know where that got me. Can't express how terrific it is having support on this journey. Have a greaaaat weekend.
