Well, surprise, surprise!
Thought my weight had gone up over the weekend, because I had been eating out a lot. But yesterday I really focused on my meal plan and cooked every meal we ate, and it must have helped--back at weight I was middle of last week.
Which is good, because I'm starting a new Accountability Challenge today, and will continue on to lose more weight. Still not where I want to be, but know I will get there soon. Keep it up, everyone!

Tomorrow is Memorial Day and the beginning of my ninth week of Metabolic Renewal. We are attending a BBQ, and I am bringing a healthy green salad with shrimp, but also an icebox cake (cookies, heavy cream, coconut!)
I will wreck my diet tomorrow, because I will indulge somewhat, even drink some wine or sangria. So tomorrow's a wash on recording everything, but I will do the best I can, as I start another week of Debbie Cousins' Challenges, recording all I eat.
I've mapped out my meals for the week, so will just have to stick to them. I seem to get in trouble when I try to go back to eating things I used to eat. Potatoes, rice, pasta may have to be off the diet for another month or more. I veer off, mostly when we eat out, because I want more than a salad with protein.
My eating out food has caused almost a two pound weight gain. I will note my correct weight tomorrow. I haven't written it here in days. I've also noticed that my snack calories are as much as a single meal, so I've got to rein snacking in also. Will I ever feel like I am balanced? Honestly don't have a clue at this point.

Monday, May 20, 2019--start of my eighth week on Metabolic Renewal way of eating, weight loss, health.
Conclusions thus far are that I have to "stick" to meal plans reasonably well, not eat out much (tendency to splurge!), and exercise more (for me walking is best)to lose weight at a faster pace. These 8 weeks have been slow weight loss, and I get impatient waiting for this slow weight loss. It gets boring, and I lose interest.
Going forward for four more weeks at least. After that, not so different food choices, because I love most of the food/meal plans on this WOE, but just maintain 150 weight. Also, not weigh every day, but maybe twice a week from here forward, because it makes me crazy to see me lose, then gain, a half a pound from day to day. Feels like I'm stuck in place at "X" weight, and can't get to my goal. Here's to my success so far!
