Hi, I'm Ann. Having struggled with excess lbs my entire life, the time has come to deal with it once and for all. Have been on countless diets since childhood and through adulthood. All of them worked for a bit until they didn't. I am a "food as a coping mechanism for everything" eater so have a tendency to lose a bit and will go off whatever program of the day I'm on at the first hint of excess stress.

I cannot afford to keep going on this way as my health is being compromised. Reached an all time high March 2023 at 264lbs and a BMI of 41+. Health was becoming an issue and my family doctor agrees. Was referred to a bariatric clinic. With their help (endocrinologist, nutritionist, food addiction counselor) I've begun my journey by changing everything, from what and how I eat to how much I move. June 2023, the endocrinologist added Ozempic to my program which has been a total gamechanger. My biggest struggle with weight loss has always been food noise - constant litany of now food, next food, what food. Add to it I always felt hungry and once eating, never felt full. That has changed now. I only wish that I had known that some of my struggle has been rooted in biology all along. It would have made such a difference to self esteem these past decades.

DONE 6) 200lbs - weight early 40s
DONE 7) 191lbs - BMI >30 Class 1 Obese to Overweight
DONE 8) 180lbs - weight early 30s
DONE 9) 170lbs - mid point to next goal
DONE 10) 164lbs - 100 lbs lost
DONE 11) 159lbs - BMI >25 Class Overweight to Normal
12) 150lbs - weight early 20s
13) 140lbs - weight late teens (BMI midrange Normal)
