I just remembered that the doctor took me off of the water pill I have been taking for my blood pressure and started me on one that has no water pill in it, well my pressure is up and so it my weight, so, I will have to work harder to lose weight now. The reason she did this is because the water pill puts stress on the kidneys and I am in stage one of Chronic Kidney Disease.

Oh - take it slow and easy, Sista. You are doing fine and already have lost lost lots of weight so I am sure you will continue - slowly but surely!

Sista, I think that I'm off for the same reason. I am swollen in both legs, gained 10 lbs last time I checked, but have not eaten anything or amount to be the reason for the gain. They told me that with this surgery I will have swelling for around 6 months. Just call me "puffy". I keep drinking lots of water and go a lot as a result. Water retention makes a big difference apparently. Just keep doing the right things. Looking at the scale can be discouraging, but we know it's not "real".
