Had to go to the hospital to weigh. It's the first time I've weighed since I was released from the hospital on March 20th. When I was admitted it was for cellulitis and I had a lot of edema(still have some - I have lymph edema). Anyway soon after being admitted on March 2nd I weighed 582. When I was released on March 20th I was 523. Today I was 504 so I've lost around 19 pounds in the last 4 weeks. I think I was hoping for more(to be under 500) but I also feared I wouldn't have lost anything at all so I'm glad I've been doing something right.

You are doing wonderful!! You will be under that in no time at the rate you are going. Kudos to you for keeping at it and for figuring out how to get onto FS. I had no idea they had criteria that wouldn't let you sign in.

I also suffer from lymphedema. Am having legs wrapped 3 times a week for the wounds. I wish to share hope that weight loss will help return you to health.

I think what she was getting at (correct me if I’m wrong) is that the FS has required entry for certain fields, weight being one of them,but it wouldn’t accept her current weight so she might have been unable to complete process.

Thank y'all so much for the encouragement! I really appreciate it and wasn't expecting so many comments so they've been a nice surprise. As for being unable to join the site without giving an inaccurate height - for some reason FatSecret has it set up so it won't allow a person to get past the sign up page if their bmi is very high. If you try, you just get a pop-up telling how high your bmi is, like they don't believe someone could be that big heh
