Dont wanna slack on my journals..they keep me focused..

So i went to dinner at the melting pot with my fiance and a friend.. ate sooo much! and after calculating the calories.. my dinner was over 1300 cals!... i said eff it.. i wanted to enjoy the night.. i'll take the gain..shrug

oddly enough no gain... no loss.. but no gain.. i can def live with that.. hope i still have a chance to reach my low.. but i haven't been too hopeful with the scale lately..

however i will say, this morning i was getting ready, and i was doing my hair.. naked (shrug)... and i noticed some improvements in some of the trouble spots of my body and i'd have to say i feel oddly slim today.. go figure :)

You have to treat yourself from time to time and I I love the Melting Pot. Slow eating so your body can properly digest.. It is the desert that gets you... :) One night out won't trash your diet. Push on and enjoy the good things in life.

Ooooo! I want to try the Melting Pot! I have heard so many good things! But being a RI'er., not so thrilled about going into the city! It is more then 15 mins away! LOL. One day I shall do a "day trip". :-) Glad you had fun, and didn't have a gain. Not every week needs a loss & in that situation; I think no gain is a win! Glad your feeling skinny!

I love the mealting pots appitizer and deserts but not the main course. Just wasn't that good. The banana foster is to die for! Glad you enjoyed it

There's much more to consider than just there mere calorie count. I factor in carbs, protein, and fat. If it's a majority protein or fat, my body typically wont gain any extra poundage. But if it's carbos... oh man, I'll gain a couple pounds! *Patooh!!

Holy crap, I just looked up The Melting Pot. It's a real actual fondue restaurant?! OH MY GOD. Sometimes I'm so glad I don't live in the US. I'd be GINORMOUS.

@ sophie lmao.. YES!! and its amazing!.. for dessert i had the "cookies and cream marshmallow dream" fondue... dark chocolate, marshmallow creme flambeed, topped with oreo cookie pieces... smh.. u get fruit and cakes to dip. soooo good...
