Doing well. Allergies acting up, I got a nasal rinse for it today. I have to go get some Flonase when I see the doctor Wednesday to help it. A neighbor said I was too thin. I weigh 200 lbs. not 150 lbs.! Thankfully I'm tall. I told him I am not going to try to lose much more weight (maybe five pounds) - but I've reached my goal weight for now. Of course the people who tell you that you're too thin are always heavy. (And don't let many of them fool you - one of my neighbors came in with at least FIFTEEN boxes of cookies once). And he wasn't selling girl scout cookies either! Anyone can eat whatever they want but it isn't like I'm really underweight or anything. I don't eat sugar most of the time. I have been eating a little lately in low calorie Gatorade but that stops this week once I start SBD maintenance. I see so many disciplined people on here and they're just more of a motivation to stay focused and thin, and hopefully start working out if my arthritis isn't acting up too much. All of you can reach your goal weight - I have - you can do it - there is no excuse you just need the motivation. Get out and exercise if the weight isn't coming off, it will help...

Don't let the neighbor derail you from positioning yourself exactly where you want to be. I have heard similar comments and it can be a bit of a downer to hear something other than: "hey, you look great." I think it happens because people just become accustomed to seeing us "bigger." Good luck with the SBD maintenance, I don't think you need any books at all for that since there is plenty of information on the web (many links on the forums right here). I don't think I saw you hit the blue line, congratulations! :-)

Thanks info - I'll get the small book you mentioned. I'm back into my writing routine now that I'm feeling better too. Since 2/3 of the public is overweight, most people are used to almost everyone they know being heavy nowadays. I will try to get a bit lower in weight though I have hit the blue line, for now anyway - thanks for mentioning it. I may have a gain this week - I haven't been doing daily weigh-ins so I don't know where I'm at...

Glen people are funny. I can totally relate to that. I was getting the same thing and actually got a little nervous about it and took my weight journal in from when I started last March. She said I was fine. Inside I knew that because I felt great and strong but sometimes when people keep telling you things like that you wonder. But don't wonder. You have done amazing. Don't let anyone spoil it for you. Have a great day!

You just have to ignore it when people say things like that. Or just take it as a compliment! You know how good you're feeling at this weight. I think that many times when people say that, they are jealous. Kudos to you for getting to that blue line!

way to go glenn on hittin that blue line...i agree with the rest above...why worry about what others say...as long as your happy with yourself, thats all that matters..some people just say the stuff they do cause they wish it was them in your shoes..but dont have the will power or the motivation to change their habits...
