I am no disappointed no matter what I do I can't lose this weight. I am not eating as much. I am working for 10 hours 5 days a week at a desk job. I know that is not helping, but I just don't have the energy or will power to work out after work. I have even tried to get up and work out before work, but that puts me getting up at 4am. Any ideas or suggestions?

morning exercise goes above brushing your teeth. start with easy and never ever stop.

My best tip is to weigh and measure all your food and drinks then put them in your food diary every day. That way you can see where you're going wrong. You do not need to exercise to lose weight - it's a myth. I don't do any at the moment (health reasons) but I'm still losing weight. Of course exercise is good for you but you won't lose if you just rely on that. Good luck!

I keep telling myself I am going to do more exercising. I used to do it all the time. I appreciate all the information. You all have given me great ideas

I have a desk job, love exercise, but found I can't take weight off that way - I had to change my way of eating. I used to be a runner but had to quit due to osteoarthritis, which coincided with the onset of menopause. I went through the weight gain - loss yo-yo, tried different diets, but couldn't lose enough or keep the weight off. I was recently diagnosed T2D, so I changed to low carb/ ketogenic eating, and daily tracking on FatSecret. I eat less, am never hungry, and have lost 33 lbs so far.

If you work space allows. you might try one of those desk tops that rises so you can stand, even walk in place while you work

@Lynnmead1963. I have a friend that came up with WYCWYC (What you can, when you can). Check out wycwyc.com. Maybe there are some ideas there that can help you out.

I would get to a functional doctor and have your thyroid checked. my medical Dr said my throat was fine and I couldn't lose an ounce. I went to a functional Dr and she checked it, said it was too high, put me on meds for it and the weight just fell off, a feel so much better. more energy, motivated, and all around happy
