Sounds like a wonderful day! Glad you had an impromptu family get-together. Those can be the most fun. 

Good job and congrats with your class, sounds like a lot of fun....also fun with the bride to be......so lovely having all the children home so awesome..... 

Well done for your class... 20 pounds :-). You must let us know the "total class" weight loss. Will the next class be all 'newbies' or will there be some of the 'oldies'? ooh. Florist, wedding - sounds like fun -) 

skinny - I have about 1/2 = 6 who are rolling over to the next session, and about 4 right now that have signed up to join in! Not sure of the total exactly, but I believe it's around 100lbs for the 12 of them. We went out to eat at Applebee's as our last class!!! We explored eating out - all the wisdom available on 'portion control' - selecting and ordering the way you want it vs. the way they cook it - etc, and one lady pipes up and says "I didn't know you could do that!" "This is amazing". I had to laugh. Really? Are there that many people in the world that do NOT order out in a restaurant something specific (like - I don't care for potatoes, so could I have the summer squash instead please?) They just get the potatoes and leave them on their plates, or worse yet... they eat the very thing they don't want to eat, because it comes on the plate??  

Sounds like you are having a good time, with much more to come, and the added plus is you are staying true to your woe, which is icing on the cake. :-) 

Paula, my DH is like that in a restaurant. He's getting better now, but he's really uncomfortable asking for any deviation, or adaptation, from the menu. I think he feels like he's being a bother and that they'll end up spitting in his food because he's asking for "special privileges." LOL!!! And, believe me, any request he'd make would be VERY small and not at all a "bother" to anyone. Your impromptu family gathering must have been so-o-o much fun. Have a great day.
