Steady weight over the past couple of days. In the big picture, I know this is good news. But, I get impatient with my weight loss progress. I know I've made a lot of progress, and the chart is very encouraging, but I still look in the mirror and am very unhappy with the shape of my pudgy body. Not sure what to do about that, guess I just need to cut myself some slack and be patient.

My exercise is still going well, I find that my body is really used to the particular programs I use most often on the eliptical trainer, so I mixed it up yesterday and did a different program and I am so sore! It's good, though. This weekend I was stretching and doing some exercises outside on the back porch during the kids' naptime and felt like I was being watched. Then I noticed my 5 year old peeking out the window at me and mimicking my motions. I laughed and told her I was making my legs stronger. "Good job, Mommy!" she said. There's some motivation. :)

You're doing great! Sometimes mixing up your work-out routine or the foods you eat will jumpstart your weight-loss again. I actually found that cheating one night if my weightloss has plateaued for several days (if I've stuck to the diet really well) will jumpstart my metabolism, and I'll lose some more weight. You're doing great though, you've lost 20 lbs!

you really are doing awesome! i know that feeling tho of looking in the mirror and not being pleased, but i think thats the flaw of being human...no one is ever happy with things :/ but just look at that chart and be proud, for not quite 2 months you are really kickin' butt!!
