Well, been MIA for the last week or so..... Dad had have 2 stents placed this Monday. His artery on the left side of his neck is completely blocked the Dr, said. Surgery was successful, dad came thru like a trooper (he is retired trooper) and we took him home yesterday. He was in good spirits.....until the Dr. gave him his marching orders, lose 100lbs or more and proceed with 50g carbs or less. And switch to Vegan if possible. Dad asked if carrots come in T-bone flavor!
So, I will be making trips home on weekends to TRY and change his WOL for the better! (Glad everything went well!)

I am happy your dad is all patched up and back home. You and your wife are the perfect two to get your dad's eating habits back in line. He will be fine once he drops the weight. My husband has had stents put in and felt better after it was done.

Those are some serious orders if your lifestyle is very different (I'm just assuming). I really hope your father improves and is able to adapt to a healthier WOE/WOL. Good luck!
