Hey you. How are things going? Knee ok? Sounds like you are doing great. 

My knee is still tender, but I'm getting around pretty well. Walked about six blocks today. Who knew a college could be so large? My older granddaughter returned to Iowa with me so she can pursue her GED and perhaps take a few college courses. It is such a joy to have her here with me. She is into healthy eating. Mangos, grapes, crackers and hummus. LOL She also like to take walks, so we are taking our dogs for a walk every evening. That is good for me and my old knee. How are you doing? The weather in Houston and New Orleans was in the mid to high 90's. It's been in the 80's in Iowa since I returned, but the evenings are mid 60's. I love the cool evenings.  

Doing great dear. I like the cool evenings too. It's been hot here as well. That's nice you get to spend time with your granddaughter. 

That girl is amazing. My daughter was basically homeless through no fault of her own, but as a result, Jazzy had to drop out of school. She signed up for classes yesterday and begins her orientation on August 12th. She's so excited. She said if she does well on the GED test, she may even sign up for a course at our local college. I'm so proud of her. I am so proud of you too. You are doing so good. I hope you are patting yourself on the back often because you deserve it.
