On Monday, my month long wait for my Cardiac Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) test results was finally over.

I have 25% blockage in 3 of the 4 major arteries in my heart.
They also found calcified lymph-nodes and calcium scaring on the top part of my liver (the top is as far down as the scan went).

The cardiologist is sending me for a specialized blood test in March/April to deal with my heart and I have to see my family doctor in February for the liver/lymph-node issue along with my 6 month check-up.

He's going to use this special test to decide our next step in treatment for my heart.

He said I have an extremely high calcium score for my age so he wants another CCTA in 2 years to keep tabs on my calcium levels.

Because of the liver/lymph issue, the technician told him to ask me about asbestos exposure.

I don't want to dwell on the possible meaning. It could end up being nothing.

THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS AVOIDED DOCTORS!!!!

Thanks everyone! As I said before, I hope the other stuff turns out to be nothing and I hope the Dr. comes up with a "good" plan for my heart. (good meaning not giving up any more of my old life and maybe giving me back some of what I have given up.)

couple of things.... was watching a YouTube video of Dr. Steven Gundry - Cardiologist. In it he describes his "moment", when a patient with similar blockages as you asked him to perform another scan, as he had changed his diet. Not believing it would do any good, he scanned him anyway...to his surprise, his blockages were greatly improved. Asking him what he had done, the patient told him he had switched to a Low-Carb High-Fat Diet. Ultimately, the Dr. switched his diet, eventually quit as a cardiologist and opened a weight-loss practice. As for you liver, look at "Liv-52" supplement. The liver can heal itself, and Liv-52 has solid clinical trials that you can find in pub-med studies to backup the effectiveness. Dr. Steven Gundry www.drgundry.com

I hear you, I hate doctors. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, hopefully the lymph node stuff isn't anything serious. As for the blockages, diet and exercise seem to be increasing blood flow to my heart according to my stress test results. It is possible to reverse heart disease.
