My birthday is later this month; I will be 49. I am comfortable in my own skin after a lifetime of ignoring my body. It took 9 years to get here. I started slowly because my 2 boys were young. You can prioritize your health. You deserve your own health.

I have to be honest unity, you look pretty good in the before photo also but the after is what we all hope to look like. Strong, cute, curvy and did i mention strong? Excellent work. Im finally mostly comfortable in my own skin at 60. The legs tho, boy did they pay a price for what i put them thru. Great job getting there before 50. You must feel fantastic.

prayerpower95, it has been so rewarding to form a better relationship with my body. I am now focusing more on emotional regulation which I never really learned in an intentional way. To integrate all parts of myself that I disassociated with has been tough. But there is no sense in feeling comfortable in my own skin only to live with uncomfortableness in the content and methodologies of my mind.💙

Looking great. Like others have said though, I don’t think the before was all that bad. Many women would love that to be their after. I guess some of us are never satisfied. I’m pretty content where I am but definitely want to maintain what I’ve gained. 💪🏻🩷😁
