I've had 1 BPC and water all day. About to have a second BPC and an avocado. I will be checking my BGL in an hour to see how it reacts to the avocado, and then again in 2 hrs. If I get a sharp raise in BGLs then I will know that part of the culprit could be the avocados I've been eating.

Okay, so far the avocado has not raised my BGL but has in fact dropped it some. This is promising news! Will be checking again in another hour.

I've also decided to lower my goal. Staring at that 81 lb to goal every day is depressing. So I've decided to set my goal weight at 210, which will be about a 15 lb loss. Then when I reach that goal, I will lower it another 10, etc. until I reach my REAL goal weight of 145.

Hmmm, now I don't know what to think. It went up 7 pts in 2 hrs, but still lower than the 168 were I began before eating the avocado. Guess I will check again in another 2 hrs to see what the final result will be. I will note that I have not taken the second Janumet today, so I have no idea if this has anything to do with anything yet. I wanted to take it before bedtime and still plan to do so. Onward with this exploration journey!

Well, there ya have it. BGL went up slightly after 2 hrs of eating an avocado and has now after 4 hrs come down to a nice number way lower than anything I've seen all day. My conclusion is that the avocados are not driving my BGLs high on a long-term consistent basis. However, I do believe that stevia WAS keeping my BGLs high throughout the day by stimulating insulin. Sorry Stevia... I love you, but you've gotta go!

Tomorrow and Sunday I will continue the BPC, avocado and water fast. Then on Monday thru Wed, I will be only doing the BPC and water. I plan to break this "fast" of sorts with turkey, green beans and deviled eggs on Thursday for Thanksgiving, but only moderate amounts. No way will I overindulge! It is counter-productive to what I am doing.
