Several false starts over the past few months, but this is not going to be one of them. I still haven't gained all the weight back that I'd lost, that's good, but I've been at a stand-still for way too long. I really need to get on track, for me, yes, but more so for my husband who DID gain all of his weight back and then some. He's on BP meds, having issues with dizzy spells and no energy, and wants to nap a lot, these are not good signs. He seems to do a better job at trying to stay healthy when I'm really enthusiastic about it- so it's time for me to ramp up that enthusiasm for the both of us.

Today I ate healthy foods and even got at least 30 minutes of exercise in. I just didn't get ENOUGH calories because I got so busy with work, I ended up skipping lunch. It's easy for me to undereat and that's not healthy either. Tomorrow is a trip to the grocery store to prepare for a weekend of cooking. Having healthy and tasty things to eat already prepared is half the battle for me.

I've got to be the example.

My suggestion is for you to work your own program. Sadly, he eventually will have to want this for himself. You simply cannot be the primary motivator, manager of this journey.. just do it and see if he follows along. Lead by example—

Good luck this time - I've had many false starts too. Will your husband go with you on walks? That might be a good start.

I think it’s incredible that you are supporting your husband ♥️ I can honestly say that having a partner makes it easier for me. Sometimes, having someone else’s enthusiasm rub off is a nice thing. In a way, it looks like your husband is actually motivating you as well 🙃 ♥️ you (both) got this!

good for catching yourself before all the weight came back. That's unhealthy to keep cycling a lot of weight off and on and off... You're right to worry about getting the calories in--don't want to lose any more BMR from too few, for sure! Sorry your DH isn't well. Cutting out the processed foods will go a long way to help, no matter what your WOE.
