I was on some kind of binge last night. I also ate way after 7:30. I wanted something salty, so I at potato chips. There wasn't enough to leave for the next time, so of course I ate all of them. After that, I wanted something a little sweet, so I grabbed a fork and took a bite of the chocolate pecan pie that I had made earlier in the day. well, one bite led to another, and by the time I realized what the hell I was doing, I had eaten an entire piece of pie.(I had to make it even again) lol.
Oh, on another note. I knew I jinxed myself the other day, talking about that job interview. I have yet to hear from them. Oh well it happens.
Okay, everyone I hope that you all have a fantastic day/weekend. Keep up the great work you are doing too. I am very proud of you all.

Been there, done that, have the stretched out T-shirt, lol. Two days ago I almost bought a bag of chocolate covered potato chips buy had enough restraint to walk away from them. Today is a new day. Sorry that you haven't heard anything else about the job, if nothing comes of it don't let it stop you...the job for you is out there if you want it, just gotta find it. And you never know...the job that led to my making a career with the school system was a year in the making, they pulled my app from the file a year after I'd applied for a position.

That one-two punch of salty then sweet, it has gotten me many times. Don't dwell on it--just have a great day today. Be patient about the job and keep the thought that no news may be good news.

maybe there are healthier versions of chocolate pecan pie that you can make and keep in the fridge for those just in case urges? Or keep one piece handy and freeze the rest? You're doin' great, keep your chin up. Brighter days are still ahead.
