Another BBQ yesterday, which went similar to the other one this holiday weekend: danced, caught up with people I haven't seen in ages, and played in the pool. Didn't eat anything, didn't drink anything besides water, didn't feel tempted. Too many thin people around and with me wearing a bikini, did not want to have my stomach "pop" out. 👙🙁

It's all about the environment. Fit people socializing but not stuffing themselves means more play time.

I left before the fireworks because I just really wanted to go home, shower and sleep. Swimming is a great sleeping pill. 🥱

Earlier I went grocery shopping, and stood in front of the fresh baked bread for a couple of minutes. Just kind of sat with it, asking myself if a loaf would make me happy or fat. Don't want to feel fat again, so I moved on. Sticking to the plan! Have another Lipid Panel drawing coming up and I really want great numbers.

I dont know my BMI is 21.6 and have never been outside the healthy BMI range even when 9 months pregnant. My bloodwork is great according to my doc. I walk roughly an hour a day and work out maybe 4x a week. I watch my calories but eat to satiate. I write this because your message is always bordering on deprivation. But to be normal weight , you can eat a variety of food including fresh baked bread. If you want BF% of sub 20 then yes, I get the deprivation. But most people here just want a healthy BMI and honestly, you can enjoy life a whole lot more and still be healthy. I am not offering this to you JB as you seem very set in your ways, rather to others who might think you need to be this strict to be in good health, you really dont.

@Egg: It’s not really about my weight at this point or my BMI — I’m currently trying to lower my cholesterol from too high to a low level on a Whole Foods Plant Based (WFPB) diet in record time. Bread, booze and processed food just doesn’t fit. I also don’t equate eating with entertainment or an event (exception: Thanksgiving). I’ve been thin most of my life, so I’m just getting back to my previous healthy habits.
