I'm not doing Adkins, but I want to do low carb hoping to go into ketosis. What is a good range of daily net carbs ?

A healthy person is under 100g of carbs a day but getting at least 120g protein to make sure you are getting enough muscle building. At home work outs I like best are Beach Body that cover all muscle groups. Good luck sweetheart!

I've read that you should do less than 50g carb/day to get started, but then bring it up to around 100 or less for maintenance. That's what I am doing, and it is working well. Slow steady weight loss. I am not starving, but my caloric intake is down also, around 1500/day. I eat two meals a day, with some snacking in between. i have eliminated sweets almost entirely, and I used to be a candy junkie. I think I have the ketone breath though, which is a pain in the ass.

I'm trying under 50 total carbs, 70%+ fat and the remainder protein. Comes out to be around 5% carbs, 70-75% fat and 20-25% protein. Too much protein will also throw you out of ketosis.

On the top of the food journal where it shows protein intake is that in percentage ?

I stick to less than 20 net carbs a day.
